Semester 1 - Introduction to Computer Networks

Semester 2 - Basics of routing and switching

2. Basic concepts of switching and basic configuration of the switch virtual interface number is 2,960. Port security.
3. VLAN - configuration, troubleshooting. Protocol DTP.
4. Basic configuration of the router. Routing. Determining the path in the network. Proton routing EIGRP - features, metrics, configuration.
5. InterVLAN routing. Configuration. Troubleshooting. Architecture "Router-on-a-Stick".
6. Static routing. Configuration of IPv4 and IPv6. Roads by default. VLSM and CIDR.
7. Dynamic routing. RIPv2 routing protons and RIPng- features, metrics, configuration. Routing tables - detailed consideration. Protocols with state ties. Basic concepts.
8. Protocol Single-Area OSPF - features, metrics, configuration. OSPFv2 and OSPFv3.
9. Sheets for access control. Standard IPv4 ACL - configuring, modifying, troubleshooting. Advanced IPv4 ACL - configuring, modifying, troubleshooting. Configure IPv6 ACL.

Semester 3 - Scalable Networks

1. Introduction to LANs. Basic principles of hierarchical design of LAN. Selecting the appropriate network devices. Basic configuration CLI to IOS.
2. Redundancy networks. IEEE 802.1d STP protocol. Protocols PVST + and Rapid PVST +. Konfigurirane.Otstranyavane problems.
3. Aggregation of connections. Technology EtherChannel.
4. Wireless Networking. Concepts, work, security, configuration of wireless networks.
5. Protocol Single-Area OSPF. Configuring, modifying the settings of OSPF interfaces and troubleshooting OSPFv2 and OSPFv3.

7. Protocol EIGRP. Working principle, metrics and format of the package. Algorithm DUAL. Work with EIGRP IPv4 and IPv6.

Semester 4 - Connecting Networks

2. Contact WAN - technology services (private and public) protocols.
3. Point to Point Protocol (PPP). Serial connections. Authentication and security. Configuration.
4. Frame Relay. Basic concepts. Virtual connections. Configuration.
5. Network Address Translation (NAT). Configure NAT for IPv4 - static and dynamic. NAT - PT (v6 to v4).
6. High-speed solutions. Teleworkers. DSL. PPPoE. WiFi mesh, WiMAX.
7. Network Security. Virtual private networks (VPN). Protocol IPsec. Remote Access SSL. Configuring GRE tunnel.
8. Monitoring Network. Syslog protocol. SNMP protocol. NetFlow protocol.
